Receive connector can't send e-mail to outside

Hi

I've problem on Exchange 2013 multi-role server. I was create receive connector with hub transport for scanner and allow by scanner IP address and Anonymous. Now can send only local domain but can't send to side my domain Yahoo, Hotmail.

How I can fixed this problem? Please help.

You can configure the receive connector to be Externally secured.

Please restrict the remote IP range to scanner only, otherwise you'll create an open relay situation.

Check out this blog on configuring External relays.  I find it very helpful when I go to do these types of things.

Pay specific attention to the end where you have to give the connector the rights the proper rights via powershell. (chances are this is all you have to do, but just go through the whole thing to make sure nothing was missed).

Agree with both Li and Hinte; follow the article and you should be fine.  If you want to just modify the connector you've already created, make sure you change it from 'hub transport' to 'frontend transport'.

Dear All

I've found my receive connector (hub transport) use same port as default frontend transport as link from Hinte.

Then I delete my custom hub transport connector and create frontend transport add permission.

Finally my scanner can sent mail to outside.
