Receeive Document
When a newly configured Mailbox receives from Telnet there is no text in the body. For instance when addressing in Telnet: <To:> <from:> <subject:> <text> this results in no text arriving in the message but when you address with an extra carriage return after the subject line you will see the text in the body. For example: <to:> <from:> <subject:> <text> any ideas for a resolution will be appreciated.

For example: "Extra"? The message headers are separated from the message body by a blank line. Without it the "<text>" is seen as part of the headers. Hi elixirdorens, Because RFC 2822 requires a blank line between the subject: header field and the message body. So in the new version of Exchange Server, when you use command to send emails you should press Enter after the subject line, otherwise you will not see text in the body. Here are some related articles for you: How to Use Telnet to Test SMTP Communication http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123686(EXCHG.80).aspx RFC 2822 http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2822.html If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to let me know and I will be glad to help.
