Read Receipt Time stamp behaviour with Outlook 2007/2010 in Exchange 2010 environment
As Read receipts it’s tied to client machine when the client "reads" the email. The Issue is : The User 1 In PST time Zone send a mail to Recipients who are in PST and CST time zones. User1 receives the Read Receipt Notification from recipients who are in CST in Central time Format- Perfect Would Like to know how the timestamp is picked : client/ servers(mail/Hub) User1 Receives the Read receipts notification from Few of the receipients who are in PST in central Zone format instead of PST format.

Hello Suman, I did also faced this issue in Exchange 2007 SP1, and the same had been confirmed by Microsoft as their product bug, which they rectified later on in SP3. The normal behaviour of Outlook timestamp is always it picks up the time of the Sender's Mailbox Server. However sometimes it differs in a co-existance environment of Exchange 2007 and 2003, but that is something even Microsoft ha dnot got rectified till now. Thanks !
