Random emails to a single user being delayed 2 days
Setup: Exchange 2007 mail server running on Server 2008 Standard. Outlook 2007 client running on Windows XP. I have a single user that is receiving emails with a 2 day delay. The emails affected by this delay are completely random. They are sent to this user from both internal and external addresses. Most messages sent to this user are received normally in a timely fashion. There is no rhyme or reason to the messages being delayed and it is always a 2 day delay. Outlook is running in cached mode on the LAN. This is not a remote user. They have a direct connection to the mail server. Thanks! Jason

Test in online mode or OWA and see if the problem continues. Alternatively, close Outlok and delete the .ost for the client and re-oen Outlook to recreate the cache. Does message tracking show that these messages arent being delayed?

Hi Jason, Any update for your issue? Please try Andy's suggestion. Or you could the bulit in tool check the tracking log to check the issue's cause. Post the log here, and we could help you more. Also check the client's time zone. Regards! gavin
