Hi,

Can I extract the latest message from an email thread in Exchange Transport Agent in Exchange 2013? For example. if someone replied to my email, I want to get the only text the other person added when he/she replied to my email (when intercept in Exchange transport agent).

Help will be very much appreciated.

Transport agents just give you access to what messages are passing through the Transport Pipeline so you will get full access to an Email when its passing through the pipeline. Conversation threading is really a job of the client so you will need to parse the body yourself to work it out as the Transport Agent interfaces are just designed to give you the access to the data. The problem with doing this is that there is no stared to the way in which different email clients respond to threads eg Outlook works one way, gmail another etc. If you have only one email client then it will be a lot easier for multiple client you need to parse you might want to have a read of http://blog.mailgun.com/open-sourcing-our-email-signature-parsing-library/
