RPC over HTTP problems
About 2 months ago we got a phone call that some users could not connect with RPC over HTTP. We ran some tests and it was not working. We tried restarting IIS and the Exchange services and it was still not working. We rebooted the server and everything started working. It has gotten to the point where we are now having to reboot the server about every 3 days. During all this OWA and the internal users never have any problems. When we look at the prefomance logs everything looks fine except for a high number of RPC requests. But we have the high number not matter if it works or not. I have looked at the IIS logs and everything in there looks fine. Does anyone have any ideas, or can point me in the right direction. I think that the problem lies somewhere between IIS and the exchange services but I am unable to find a flow chart that lists anything in that space.
