Questions on EdgeSync
Hi AllI had some questions about EdgeSync I was hoping someone could answer for me. So, I understand that EdgeSync is the sync of AD and ADAM between a Hub Transport server and an Edge server.i) Is it possible to manually amend ADAM, or does everything have to be changed in AD and then synced over?ii) Is there a method to check entries in ADAM via some sort of utility like ADUC?iii) With address re-writing, is it possible to change which components (e.g. From:. Sender:) are or are not re-written?

(0) The Microsoft Exchange EdgeSync service replicates the following data from Active Directory to ADAM: * Send connector configuration* Accepted domains* Remote domains* Message classifications* Safe Senders lists* Recipients* TLS Send and Receive Domain Secure lists* Internal SMTP Servers list* List of Hub Transport servers in the subscribed Active Directory site EdgeSync Replication Datahttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232177.aspxUnderstanding Edge Subscriptionshttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997438.aspx (i) Possible (have not tried it, though), but you should not modify the ADAM configuration of an Edge Transport server after the Edge Transport server is subscribed to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 organization. How to Modify ADAM Configurationhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997269.aspx (ii) Was wondering about the same. Quite cumbersome with Ldp.exe, a far cry from ADUC.
