Question regarding restarting System Attendant on CCR cluster
There were some changes made to the AD regarding an old Domain Controller that one of the Exchange Servers is not seeing. Specifically 9385 coming from MSExchangeSA stating the following: Microsoft Exchange System Attendant failed to read the membership of the universal security group I don't see any dependancies, but I don't have a CCR in a lab either. Any harm on restarting the SA on the active node of the CCR cluster?

I don't see specifically where it says that it doesn't have an effect on a CCR active node. Am I missing something?

What? Sorry, I don't understand. I wound up moving the cluster (which restarts SA service) to solve my problem, but I'm wondering if there is any harm in restarting SA on the active node if this crops up again.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I mean, the article does not contain a warning about restarting SA service on CCR system so I think it is safe to do it. Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
