Question on importing pst files to Exchange Online.

We are an Exchange 2013 - Hybrid environment.  We are updated to CU7.  The majority of our mailboxes are on premise with the exception of a number of "lighter" users whose mailboxes are stored on Exchange Online.

We are still in the process of migrating a good number of our users' archives that are in pst files.  Here's my question.  If user(s) are O365 users, what is the best way to import their archives that are stored in pst files?

I've tried the PST Capture Tool and it is incredibly difficult to use.  I'd rather not use Outlook for each invidiual mailbox to import the pst (there are a lot of mailboxes).  I'd also rather not migrate the mailboxes back to on-premise and then migrate them back to Exchange Online.

I know you can use new-mailboximportrequest for on-premise via powershell.  Is there not a way to import an archive/pst to a O365 mailbox?  Every article I've seen regarding this was from 2 years.  Has anyone seen anything

Thank you everyone for your responses.

Instead of the fighting the PST Capture Tool or using Outlook, I ended up deciding to migrate the needed users back to on-premise.  Then batch import the psts.  Then migrate them back to 365.

Thankfully, the majority of these users have fairly small small mailboxes and psts.

Thanks again.
