Question about updates

 I am using the Office Deployment Tool for Click to Run to deploy Office 365 ProPlus using SCCM.  If I do not want Office 365 to update automatically, should I leave the comment characters for the Updates element in CONFIGURATION.XML or do I need to uncomment it and set the Enabled attribute to FALSE?

In other words, is

<!--  <Updates Enabled="TRUE" /> -->

the same as

<Updates Enabled="FALSE" />?

Hi Bob,

Base on my understanding, if you don't specify an update setting, Office will take default setting which is "By default, updates for Office 365 ProPlus are downloaded automatically from the Internet and applied in the background, without any user or administrator intervention. " Qoute from this article.

However, I'm not familiar with SCCM settings. Based on my limited knowledge of SCCM, it will push update to clients, right? If you are using SCCM do the deployment and want to disable auto-update, I suggest you to post your question in this forum. Thank you.
