Hi, Details Template Editor can help you to customize the appearance of the object properties that are accessed by using address lists in MAPI 32-bit client applications, such as Microsoft Outlook. Outlook actually acts as a client which has no ability to update personal information. Furthermore, in Outlook Cached mode, recipients in GAL are queried from the Offline Address Book (OAB). OAB is a copy of address lists downloaded from Exchange server. In this scenario, Outlook doesn't communicate with directory servers for personal information at all. Besides, objects that we can modify via Details Template Editor is to change field sizes, add or remove fields, add or remove tabs, and rearrange fields.
