Question about Send As and Moderated Distribution Groups

Scenario:  Two moderated distribution groups.

User:  Approved sender on distribution group 1.
SharedMailbox:  Approved sender on both distribution groups.

The user in question is now granted Send As rights for the Shared Mailbox.  Can this person, when sending as the Shared Mailbox, now send to distribution group 2, or are they still restricted in sending only to the groups for which they are explicitly allowed?

In our organization, we have multiple region based distribution groups such as:

AllUS
AllUK
AllAsia
Etc.

The directors of each region should be allowed to send to the distribution group for that region, but not for the others.  The catch here is that they want them to be given SendAs rights on this Shared Mailbox so that all corporate communcations to these groups are 'branded' the same way.

The Shared Mailbox itself is an approved sender for all of these groups.  So I'm wondering if each regional director will now have the ability to 'Send As' to all of the groups (since the Shared Mailbox has these rights), or if they'll still be restricted to the region for which they explicitly have permissions.

Thanks,

Hi,
According to my test, the test user still don't have permission to send to other DG though the user had send as rights for the shared mailbox.
