Question about Names
I tried to add a user with last name O'Dell with the single quote in the name. I get a warning about SimpleDisplayName WARNING: Object domain/OU/Corporate/O'Dell,FNAME has been corrupted and it is in an inconsistent state. The followingvalidation errors have occurred:WARNING: FNAME O'Dell is not a valid value for SimpleDisplayName. The value may only contain 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e', 'f', 'g','h', 'i', 'j', 'k', 'l', 'm', 'n', 'o', 'p', 'q', 'r', 's', 't', 'u', 'v', 'w', 'x', 'y', 'z', 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F', 'G','H', 'I', 'J', 'K', 'L', 'M', 'N', 'O', 'P', 'Q', 'R', 'S', 'T', 'U', 'V', 'W', 'X', 'Y', 'Z', '0', '1', '2', '3', '4', '5','6', '7', '8', '9', '"', '(', ')', '+', ',', '-', '.', '/', ':', '?', ' '. I thought there was a way to get around not being able to use single quotes in this. This is causing some powershell warnings to pop up when running scripts for mailboxes like this. Any information on fixes would be greatly appreciated.
