Question about Global Address List
I hope I am posting this in the correct section, because this could be a direct Active Directory question.
I am working for a client who handles contracts through a massive company in my area. This client has a list of roughly 1500 names and addresses for which he would like made into a Global Address List, so that when he is typing an email message, these contacts can be selected as internal Active Directory users.
I know that I can import all of these contacts as Contact objects into Active Directory using CSVDE. However, I only have First Name, Last Name, and Email Address. It seems like a great deal of effort to add the additional columns necessary for CSVDE to run.
My question: Is there an easier way to accomplish this?
p.s. If I have posted this in the wrong area, I do apologize.

I'm not sure I understand the "great deal of effort". As I see it the only columns you would need are following (assuming the Display Name is a combination of first name and last name):
ObjectClass, DN, DisplayName, ProxyAddresses

Jeff - there is a better way......
I have been using the tools from dovestones for a while with great sucess.
dovestones.com
They have several bulk import tools including one for contacts. They out of the UK and the tools are pretty cheap - espically considering the amount of time you can save.
good luck
