Question about "allocation unit size" when creating partition for Exchange 2010.
I am configuring a Windows 2008 r2 server to run Exchange 2010 and will be installing Exchange on the D: drive. I need to know what "allocation unit size" would be best to use for this partition (d:). It will only be running Exchange 2010, nothing else. Should I use the "Default", 512, or 1024, or something else? It seems like I have read about this before but can't really find anything definite on this. If I can't find a good answer I will just go with Default. thanks
