We have Exchange 2010 with hybrid to Office365 and Lync 2013 on prem. when i need to downtime the Lync service, would like to query Exchange if there are any scheduled meetings in the maintenance day. is that possible?

According to your description, I am still not quite sure about your issue. Do you mean you want to search the Lync meeting in Exchange when you disable the Lync services in Lync server?

If the lync meetng has been created and sent out in client side, the meeting would be saved in the user mailbox. You can search it in Outlook and OWA. But if the Lync services are down, the Lync can't be used for Lync meeting. We can cancel it in client side.

Prior to maintenance downtime of the Lync server, i would like to query the Exchange server if there are any upcoming lync meetings on that same time and email those participants.

Is that possible?
