Putting a Win95 pc on a win2003 server domain
Hello I am looking at putting one of our older PC's on a windows 2003 server domain, and I am having some difficulties I keep receiving an message "The domain password you supplied is not correct, or access to your log on server has been denied." I have been doing some reading through the Microsoft Knowledge based articles and the solution as shown it "To resolve this behavior, upgrade the operating system (the recommended resolution), or install the latest Active Directory client." Unfortunately just upgrading the system is not an option at this time because we need windows 95 to run the software that contains a lot of information that we can not just loose. I was wondering where I can get the latest Active directory Client and instructions of what I must do to get it set up and working on our 2003 server domain. I have been looking on the Microsoft Website and knowledge based articles with no luck I was able to find one which was entitled "Dsclient" but when I tried to run the program it said I required Windows NT. Any assistance I can get with this problem would be appreciated.
