Publisher 2013 spot colors
I had the option in Publisher 2007 to convert colors to spot using PMS chart.. I can't seem to fine that in Publisher 3013.. I paid a lot of money for Office 2013 and have been very disappointed with this mess so far!!  Oh, I am a graphic artist and I use Creative Suite, Quark, Corel Draw and Freehand...

Hi,

In the new Publisher, we no longer have to choose a color model for your publication.

The color mode has been simplified in the new version, and now we can use RGB mode for all cases, enhanced to export additional color information when saving the publication.

Unfortunately, the blog is wrong.

Printers in the UK want CMYK colours - and the RGB is just a fob off.
In the stand alone Publisher 2010/2013 it is possible to go into Info and "Choose Color Mode" where one can change to CMYK.
For some reason, once again Server based Publisher 2013 does not offer this "Choose Color Mode" option

I am distressed that MS Publisher 2013 has withdrawn this color mode change. It is a totally unnecessary "simplification". Please MS will you reconsider this NOW and make an upgrade available urgently. I have recently paid good money for this product as an upgrade to Publisher 2010, and yet a core function for printing purposes has been removed without notification. This is a FOUL!
