I cannot figure out just why on this earth -- should attachment loaded emails will NOT be delivered through TMG into our exchange mailbox server: i.e. Inbound and outbound email is routed via Exchange Front End Server that inturn is published on port 25 through TMG 2010 server. Rules on TMG are -- allow -- protocal --SMTP Server -- port 25 out; as well as the same for inbound. I can telnet from the FE -- telnet TMG external leg on port 25 -- good I can telnet from TMG -- telnet exchange FE on port 25 -- good i can from the internet -- telnet TMG's external leg that inturn is NATed to a public IP -- port 25 and all is good I can deliver emails out of the organization -- to the internet -- works well I can get (inbound) emails from the internet into the orgazation -- works well HOWEVER inbound emails with attachments NEVER gets delivered. Strange: After this named failure above -- i have published the same exchange FE through an ISA 2006 box and attachment email is delivered from the internet seamlessly!NguriJN
