Public folders not replicating from Exchange 2003 to 2007 during migration?!?!?
I'm in the midst of an Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 migration. Exchange 2003 has sp2 on Windows 2003 SP2 and Exchange 2007 has sp2 with sp2 rollup update 2 on Windows 2008 Enterprise SP2. I created replicas of all public folders + system public folders between Exchange 2003 and 2007 using the Exchange 2003 system manager. If I look in the Ex2003 system manager first administrative group\server\first storage group\public folder store\replication status, I see that there are 2 repilcas and they are in sync. However, in public folder manager on ex2007, I'm not seeing ANY public folders at all. I opened Outlook for a user mailbox that's on Exchange 2007 and I don't see any public folders either. This is apparently a common issue if you do a search on google and I'm not finding any real solutions for it. This is not the first time I see this either. My other previous Ex2003 to Ex2007 migration displayed the same problem, my solution was to do an export of the public folder to .pst then re-import into the public folder hiearchy on Ex2007 but the public folder permissions get lost that way. Can someone shed some light on this? thanks.
