Public folders error during moving log files to another disk
Hi,I add new disk fo public folder logs. I am trying to move it to a new disk by using command below and GUImove-StorageGroupPath -Identity 'EXCHVS5\Public Folders Group' -LogFolderPath 'S:\EXCHVS5_Logs\Public Folder Logs'I get this error message. Any idea what to do next? The events subsystem for the public folder database was not initialized because the system folder named 'StoreEvents{3AB160D4-7ABE-4280-9913-0E185C85439D}' and its subfolders do not have a replica on this server. If you are not in the process of removing the public folder database, add a replica for these folders on this server, wait for content to replicate from another server, and then dismount and remount the database. Cheers, Alex

Alex,This may be due to missing replica of the system folders on this server. If you have another server hosting public folders in your organization you should make sure that you have the system folder configured to replicate with this server. Once that is done you will have to wait for at least 24-48 hours to replicate the changes to this server (depending upon the size of system folders).MMilind Naphade | MCTS:M | http://www.msexchangegeek.com

The events subsystem for the public folder database was not initialized because the system folder named 'StoreEvents{3AB160D4-7ABE-4280-9913-0E185C85439D}' and its subfolders do not have a replica on this server. If you are not in the process of removing the public folder database, add a replica for these folders on this server, wait for content to replicate from another server, and then dismount and remount the database Check info: 1. Do you get the same error info via EMC and EMS? 2. Please describe the exchange topology 3. Based on the error info, it seems that some system folders werent replicated to this server, please follow the suggestions in the error info to add the replica and see if the issue still persists a. Please use the cmdlet below to list all system folders, and check if the Replicas parameter filed for every system folder lists the public folder store of the problematic server Get-PublicFolder -server <ProblematicServerName> \non_ipm_subtree - recurse | fl > C:\PFstat.txt b. If the Replicas parameter doesnt include public folder store of the problematic server, please add it Notes: The system files and the transaction logs are usually stored on the same volume. I would suggest referring this article to move the log file, along with the system files
