A mail enabled public folder I've created and can be emailed to without any problem will not show up in the address book. In Exchange Advanced "hide from Exchange address lists" is not ticked and I've entered a "Simple display name" (in case that was the issue). Exchange version is 2003 SP2.

Check the showInAddressBook attrbute for that object in AD. Is it populated? If not, copy and paste the value from one that is showing correctly.
