Public folder misbehaving
I am not sure which is the right forum for this question, so I ended up here. I have an exchange public folder called 'internet newsgroups' that has followed our exchange migrations from 5.5 up to 2007. I have tried to remove it many times but with no luck. The folder is empty, and is not replicated to any other server. I am the owner and have full administrative rights on it. But I can't delete it either from outlook or via the exchange shell, the message that i recieve via shell is: Remove-PublicFolder : Cannot delete the object '\internet newsgroups'. Please make sure that you specified the correct identity and that you have the correct permissions to delete it. Via Outlook, the message is: Cannot delete this folder. Right click the folder, and then click properties to check your permissions for the folder. See the folder owner or your administrator to change your permissions. Some items cannot be deleted. They were either moved or already deleted, or access was denied. I am the folder owner. I have used PFDAVAdmin to check the dacl state and it is good. I have tried to use 'wipe existing dacl before committing' to reset the dacl and i get the error 'Exception: The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request. Any one have any other ideas to try? This is annoying.
