Add-PublicFolderClientPermission cmdlet or the AddUsersToPFRecursive.ps1 user management script to specify the permissions for the client user. You can create the access rights by using either the predefined permission roles or by creating

Of course, the client want to use the public folder to share information with other exchange user, like contact, e-mail and other stuff with out having to send it a mail message. On older version of outlook this task was default so you dont have to
do anything at all because all user was able to use the public folder for this type of purpouse.

Ok, I went to the user management for the domain and add the following group to the member of tab:
Exhange Public Folder Administrator.
Still can't write anything on the Public Folder.Samuel Martinez

How I could use the public folder to share contact with my workgroup, some how the public folder are readonly, the user are not granted to write, modify anything on that database. I'm using windows exchange 2007 sp1.Samuel Martinez

Have the public folder owner assign the appropriate permission on the
folder.

Are you the folder owner? Find the folder in Outlook and have a look
at the folder's property page. Use Outlook's "Help", too.

Yes, Administrator will be set as a Owner of that Folder , so is there any other permissions are you able to see like author, editior, etc etc.. in which your name is listed or your name is set for any other persmissions . What is the default permissions
is there any ??
You can check what kind of permission you have .
Right Click to that PF > Properties > Summary -- check is your name listed there ? if yes what kind of permission do you have against to that specific folder. After that you can request the PF owner to give the necessary permission
to you . You can not setent.

Samuel, if you do not mind can you pls let us know what you really want to achive, you want to create/modify the Public folders or any specific PF.
See while adding you in Exhange Public Folder Administrator, you will be able to perfom the administrative things on the server side , now here i do not know you will be responsible till what extent related to the PF administrative work. So i would suggest
you to please go through the URL and let us know where you stuck up..
