Public Folder Replication - Exchange 2000 and 2003 Interoperability
I currently have an Exchange 2000 site within a large Exchange Org. I have added an Exchange 2003 server to my site and am having trouble getting public folders to properly replicate. When users on the Exchange 2000 server add a Public Folderitem both users from the 2000 and 2003 see the item. When users on the Exchange 2003 server add a Public Folder item only the 2003 users can see the item.

I'm brand new to Exchange 2003 (Just migrated from 5.5 to 2007 this past weekend) so this answer may be overly simplistic an unhelpful... but just in case.In the Exchange Server 2003 management console, have you established replication to the 2000 server? Go to :Administrative Groups / Group in question / Servers / Server name / Storage Group in question / Public Folder Store. Right click on the Public Folder store and select properties. Click the replication tab to make sure replication is not set to "Never run."If that's OK, go to one of the public folders not being replicated and make sure it has a replica set up. I no longer have anything listed on my Exchange 2003 server in public folders, but I believe that was done by right clicking on the public folder and selecting "Add replica."Hope something in there helps.
