PublicFolder Replica stores Free/Busy How many replicas?
We have 6 exchange mailbox clusters. One of our exchange 2007 cluster hosts the Public Folders database. We use Outlook 2003 clients so we need PF for Free/busy. Do we need PF and replicas on al clusters? Or is one copy/Cluster enough? With Kind Regards, Lon

Which cluster model you are using in exchaneg 2007 , Is it CCR ? Quote for PF in CCR ENV CCR and public folder replication are two very different forms of replication built into Exchange. Due to interoperability limitations between continuous replication and public folder replication, if more than one Mailbox server in the Exchange organization has a public folder database, public folder replication is enabled and public folder databases should not be hosted in CCR environments. Please go throu below KB for read more info about PF replication in MS cluster netwrk:: http://blogs.technet.com/b/andym/archive/2008/04/14/exchange-2007-ccr-with-public-folder-store.aspx Anil

Hi, Of course, the PF and Replicas are necessary. The copy of the Public Folder Database should be distributed into every cluster. Thanks Allen Allen Song
