Public, or custome created folders
In exchange 2003 I beleive you can create the concept of public folders, whereby you can drag emails to a pubic folder and set an access control list of a certain/team department who can see these folders. How can you check all public folders setup on an
exchnage server, and the corresponding access control list as to who can see the contents of the folder?
Also, if you migrate from 2003 to 2010, do the public folders migrate over, and keep the ACL's in check?

1. Use ESM to check permissions or Outlook. Or you can use pfdavadmin.
2. ACL's will be migrated over too.

Thanks for the reply.
Can you use Outlook to check the permissions for every mailbox we are interested in, if so can you detail how?

This is a different question right? First one was about PF and this is about mailbox permission?
See below for mailboxes.

Misunderstanding, so every "folder" public folder or whatever can be seen by every user using outlook?
What about if a team wants a "private" folder as opposed to a public folder? Surely I cant check the ACL for that from outlook if I am not granted access?
How can you see private folders in exchange?

You can use pfdavadmin of ESM.
