"Protected file has been detected,and Pass has been taken on" I get this error when someone sends an FRX file to someone else via e-mail in the company. The file is an .FRD file and I am wondering WHERE To get to the protected files and ALLOW it. Thank you. Matt

Hi Matt, Can you give more information about your Exchange environment? Like which version of Exchange you use, do you use any anti-spam or content filtering softwares, when you get this error message etc

Matthew, if you are using trend micro as your antivirus....go to security settings, select your exchange server then configure....On antivirus click action. Under the heading "Unscannable Message Parts" and under advanced options you will see that it is selected to take a pass on encrypted and password protected files. That is probably where youe email is coming from.
