Product key for 2007 office home and student won't accept when loading.  I have the packaging.  it won't take. I supposedly have 2010 Office Home and Student but have no Excel so am loading my 2007 software that does have Excel but Dell won't take product code.

No. the above does not answer.  Please answer my question.  Since the 2013 preloaded on my Dell does not have Excel (!!! which I specifically requested!!@ and paid for!!!), I must load my 2007 software that I had on my prior laptop.  It will not take the codes on the label of the package including the certification of authenticity!!!  I need Excel now and can't get it.  Please reply ASAP on how to get loaded so I can work.

Installing an older version of Microsoft Office is not recommended if you have a newer version installed.  All versions of Office 2013 include Excel.  Perhaps you need to reinstall it.  Please review: Repair Office programs
