Product Keys
Hi, I'm sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, but where exactly do I obtain a product key for this evaluation? I did download the whole .iso file (which took nearly three days), but I haven't recieved a key in the mail, or on the download page... can someone clue me in?

You shouldn't need one... have you just tried installing? Note that beta2 should be available soon so you may want to wait.

Hi KC, Unlike previous versions of Exchange, I see Exchange Server 2007 gives you the option of entering a Product Key. Does this mean that Exchange needs to be activated when speaking RTM?

Looks like the GUI portion is there, however, E2007 Beta 2 doesn't need the keys just yet. Everything is functional. Abi Maggu (CEC)

Yep I'm aware of that, I was just curious about the future (see RTM).

I think at the end of the day, when RTM actually ships, things such as UM are going to need separate keys and won't just use standard CAL licensing. I'm sure the end goal would be to offer lowered pricing to companies that won't be using the UM features and such. So far in our testing, Call Manager 5.0 and E2007 Beta 2 integration is already better than Call Manager and Cisco's Unity UM. One reason Microsoft will charge for the use of UM.
