I purchased a Samsung Notebook 3 that came with Microsoft Office 8 installed. I was able to use it and it was great. I got a virus and ran a recovery. Afterward I was unable to use Office and am was asked to enter the Product Key. I called Microsoft and they gave me the key. I have since had to run another recovery and am required to enter the Product Key. Unfortunately I have misplaced it during a move to a new home. I called 877-775-9634 for help and all the tech was interested in was selling me a service plan and never came close to helping with the real issue. I then tried the Microsoft website. Clicking "contact us" every page I tried stated "page no longer exists." I am so frustrated!  I need office for work.  I don't think I should have to purchase it again, nor do I think I should have to purchase a Product Key for something I've already paid for.  How do I get my product key?

I'm not sure what number it is that you've called, but as it's a product key issue, I suggest you contact your local customer service to get support:

In this forum we mainly discuss questions and feedbacks about Office client products, we don't have the access to the product key. Contact the customer service and explain your scenario, you may get a new product key to use.
