Problems with quota messages

I have installed an Exchange 2013 server coexisting with an Exchange 2007 server. Both servers language is english. The Exchange 2013 has cumulative update 9 installed. I have migrated only a few mailboxes for testing.

We are facing problems with quota notification messages. I have tried several fix suggestions, with no success. The consequences we have noticed are:

Every migrated mailbox receives the quota notification messages in english, although they have "Languages" set to brazilian portuguese {pt-BR}. Get-SystemMessage shows all messages in portuguese only.

The messages are received several hours later than the configured quota notification interval.

When I try to customize the quota notification interval, clicking "save" results in the error message: "Your request couldn't be completed. Please try again in a few minutes."

Thank you for any possible help.

Hi Paul,

I suggest you to run Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration and check the default language set for those brazilian mailboxes

What  i suspect is that the mailbox regional config might be changed

Hi,

I have just run Get-MailboxRegionalConfiguration. For each mailbox, it shows Language as pt-BR.

Sorry for the weird formatting. When I edit the post, it appears in fixed-font.

As you can see, the messages are identical and their language is pt.

The originating servers are different. TITAN-2012 and ENCELADO-2012 are our domain controllers.

These configurations where not changed. Exchange 2013 is "inheriting" them from 2007.

We never had such problems in Exchange 2007.

Thanks for your replies.

Hi,

Please make sure the language of custom DSN message is correct, supported language for system messages are pt and pt-PT.

And set the same custom DSN messages in exchange 2007 server to take a test.

Manage DSN messages
