hi, >>>Have configured & created recipient policy & accepted domain as per KBhttp://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2011/04/13/how-to-configure-sbs-2011-standard-to-accept-e-mail-for-multiple-authoritative-domains.aspx for my second sister hosting company. One exchange two domain, is it right? What's your mail flow? I think we should get more information about your exchange environment. If you only have one exchange server. You only should do three steps that you can use the new domain to receive mail. 1. create a new accepted domain 2. new a address policy then assign to users 3. create a new mx record for the new domain. Accroding to the test result, it seems message has been routed to your exchange server. MX record i can ensure it is ok. If you use message tracking log to search the message which is sent to your new domain user, can you find some more information? hope can help you thanks, CastinLu TechNet Community Support

any suggestions will be more than welcome Do you even have mailboxes with the new accepted domain? The error #Mailbox unavailable" tells us that you dont. What's the result if you test the mailflow? Example: Test-Mailflow EXCHANGESERVER -TargetEmailAddress someuser@xyz.com Martina Miskovic

hi, When adding another domain name to your exchange you need to do the following:- 1. Add the new domain to your exchange hub "Accepted domains" e.g test1.com is the default domain and the new test2.com domain. Also create an A record which points to the same external IP address, e.g mail.test1.com to 1.1.1.1. and mail.test2.com to 1.1.1.1. 2. Create a new OU for the domain on the domainC/mail server (without the .com, etc..), this will keep things tidy. 3. Create your new test user as usual (eg. test@test.local), just select default domain name (*@test.local) * It is OK, this will not show up as your default domain when sending emails. we will change this after you create the user. 4. Create the new mailbox in Exchange with the new user (test) and select the default domain (test1.local). If the user already exists then just change the login name to test2 but keep the name the same e.g first name "test" but the login will be different. 5. Once the user is created, go to the properties of the user and select "Email Addresses" and then un-select "Automatically update email address..." 6. Now you will be able to add the new email address you need to assign to the new user with new domain name:- a) Select "Add" and create the new email address, e.g test@test2.com b) Now select the default email address which you created by default (e.g. test@test1.local) and delete. 7. Your done, but i would test it by sending the emails to AOL.com to make sure!!! In some cases you will have to ask your ISP to setup a rDNS. but in my past experience if AOL.com except your emails then everyone else does and i have done this without asking my ISP when adding the second domain name. Never failed before.... Hope this helps.

What you see there are UPN Suffixes and you can create new once in Active Directory Domains and Trusts.Martina Miskovic

Hi, The error which you have posted here, it shows 550 550 5.1.1, -Currently it says rejected by the recipient domain, where i have seen this error we usually get when the recipient is not in the Org. as i see many response on this Topic - this sounds like you are good with the configuration on the exchange part. Now we need to look at few things. 1. DNS Do you see any difference - while email going thru outbound & coming to inbound, how the DNS is structured. 2. Email Gateway (Baracuda) Do you see any Certain 3. Mail Flow test -establish the session using telnet from outside to your SMTP gateway and send email using command line with the old domain Then same try with xyz, new domain. -create one user with both the smtp address (older domain & new Domain) then try to send email from public account on both the id, see the header, what difference do you see there. I am sure there is somthing in Baracuda which is causing issues. But just try these, you might get some clue on this. Regards, Ashwini Know more about Messaging :-)

At this point this is something, which is stopping you on the Email Gateway which is you Barracuda. The good idea would be to check on the Vendors (Barracuda) forum, Check what they have to say on this. I don't think you have anything missing from exchange side. All the best further!
