Problem with some exchange services
I have these two problems but i'm not sure if they're related or not:1- I have two exchange 2007 servers one with the typical installation and one with edge server. I tried to do an edge sycronization using this command: Start-EdgeSychronization but i got the following error: "Unable to contact Edge Sync service" so i went to the services on the server and i tried to start the service but i got this error: "Error: 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion".2- There was a problem that the server wasn't sending messages it was only recived them so i did a troubleshoot and found that Microsoft Exchange Mail Submission i restarted it fine... but when i restart the server the service is turned off again and it needs to me manualy turned on even though it's set to Automatic.

I think this will help you: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944752 Use proxycfg to configure your proxy server, or give your exchange server at least http access to the internet, Regards, Terence Snijtsheuvel
