Problem with removing mailboxes
I'm running Exchange 2003 and somehow one of my users managed to get 3 mailboxes.I tried to delete the others, but it doesn't want to delete any (It says it's deleted, but it's still there) and I can't get her user connected to the mailbox that's got her mail in.I can't disconnect the mailboxes either, I've tried removing exchange attributes from her account, but it's says it's still connected.I've exported the mailbox to a .pst file, but it's got a password on and I don't know what the password is (Tried the Admin password and her user password).I've gotten to a point where I just want to delete the mailboxes and recreate, if I just could delete them.

try running the mailbox clean up agent n see if it marks them as orphans which can be reconnected. if not and you are still experiencing problems you can try dismounting then remounting the information store and see if that helps. failing that you can always run an offline defrag of the database using isinteg and that should do it for you. Incently, have you made sure WINS & DNS are both in good working condition on your network & that exchange server is configured to talk to those servers?
