Problem with POP3
I am having a problem with incoming mail to Exchange 2003 under SBS 2003. I think there is a bad file, but I am not sure which it is - imbdlvr.exe is running at nearly 99% and the log says (Pop3 connector) Error: cannot create a file when that file alreay exists. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksRich

I had SBS 2003, I hadn't this problem ..but I mean You should try to reconfigure sbs to not use pop3 connector to pick up emails and reconfigure it back again... those files witch delivers e-mails should be in program files\exchsrvr\somewhere... but I'm not sure, I cannot to check it anywhere... You can monitor changes on files in that directory during reconfiguring SBS... good luck

IMBDLVR is stuck on a bad .EML file. Move all files from \POP3\Incoming Mail folder and paste them into some other folder. The bad file will not move since it is locked. Now you know which file is bad. "End the Process" for IMBDLVR and delete the bad file. Reconnect the POP3 Connector and the mail will flow again. Be sure to copy the files that you moved and put them back in the \POP3\Incoming Mail folder so they are not lost. This works!
