Problem in receving Emails out of Domain
I'm attempting to replace a failing exch server. Had one configured from a few years ago, launched it, migrated mailboxes and everything seems find within our domain (send-receive) and will send outbound but will not receive from out of domain. have 4 different offices on t-1 connection through AT&T cloud. I've never worked with exchange so any advise or pointers to implementation guides would be appreciated..

Normally you do not expose the internal mail server to the Internet. Typically you have an SMTP relay or Exchange Edge server in the DMZ.Does the replacement server have a different IP or Host name? If so did you set DMZ mail server to send it to the new address?Did you setup the replacement server to accept mail from the DMZ mail server?David.

Hi,What's the version of the Exchange server? Please ensure the Receive Connector is configured correctly in Exchange server. You can try to telnet your Exchange server to send one testing email, check the result.ThanksAllen
