i have a problem in the configuration for a custom business domain on Outlook for Ipad. I insert all correct parameters in the Exchange section but the application return an error, impossible communicate with the server.

What is the error? what is the version of Outlook installed on iPad is the app from Microsoft.

Do you have necessary certificates configured correctly.

Are you able to browse the mails via OWA using the web browser on the  iPad.

What about ActiveSync, have you tried that as well.

From a PC check if you get any error using this troubleshooting website from MS.

After you check the available for Exchange server, please pay attention to the steps to "Set up email on iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch": https://support.office.com/en-gb/article/Set-up-email-on-iPhone-iPad-or-iPod-Touch-b2de2161-cc1d-49ef-9ef9-81acd1c8e234
Note: If your Exchange server configuration does not support Autodiscovery, it will fail (saying it couldnt validate your account), and you will have to manually enter the Server name.

thanks for your replies. My domain is @contoso.com and after that I insert correct user and password the system response that is impossible communicate with the server. if you would, I can insert a video with the operations.

I have not an Exchange account but I have a custom domain with an Email Service Provider (for example Tiscali in Italian). All parameters is right but nothing components work on outlook for ipad work. I have just configured an Hotmail account and it work. I don't understand why I can't configure my custom domain on outlook for ipad while on outlook desktop all work.

What is the setting that you are using while configuring the "custom domain" , is it POP3,IMAP or anything else.

Is this app from Microsoft or 3rd party, have you tried using any other app, what about any other device, have you tried configuring it anywhere else apart from these 2.

What does support\guide from the Email Service Provider suggest.

Also please post the exact error me
