I'm trying to block emails sent to a specific recipient on Exchange 2010. I've created a transport rule as follows: Apply rule to messages when a recipient's address contains 'address@iwanttoblock.com' Delete the messgae without notifying anyone This domain of this email address does not exist and I am getting multiple emails stuck in my outbound queue. How can I fix this rule and/or delete messages sent to this address?

You can block the domain in the sender id filtering. We can also block the IP in the connection filtering. We can also enable SPF(sender id) record filtering but some organization has does not have SPF record filtering.Regards, Prabhat Nigam XHG and AD Architect and DR Expert Website: msexchangeguru.com VBC: https://www.mcpvirtualbusinesscard.com/VBCServer/wizkid/card

So I have some new info, the domain does exist and users send to other valid addresses on this domain. So I can't block the entire domain. I can't block the IP since I want to receive other emails from the sender. Again, I don't think SPF checking will work since this is a valid domain. Do I have any other options?

My understanding is that sender filtering applies to an Edge Transport server. Is it available for a Hub/CAS/MBX server? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124354.aspx
