Problem Editing / Adding Permissions to Public Folders / Other Domain
Hello, my Problem is a bit strange... We have 2 Domains lets call them domain1 and domain2 ... we have linked Exchange mailboxes from users which are in domain2 to Mailboxes in domain1 The problem now is i cann not Add Domain Users from domain1 to the Public folders... we only see the Addressbook of Domain2.... i thought with PFDAVAdmin there could be a way to Export permissions then edit the .TXT file and reimport ... i thinke this worked ... but when i look in the Logfile it sais: Error: LookuoAccountName failed on: Domain1\USERNAME Permissions for this entity will not be applied. is there another way to get this Domain1 Users in the Permissions?! Other Tool maybe? or a other Way... Thanks!!

Please describe the exchange version and topology Does the domain1 and domain2 in the two different forests? Do you want to grant domain1’s users the client permissions of the domain2’s public folder?James Luo TechNet Subscriber Support (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/ms788697.aspx) If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
