Hi, CCR support Scheduled and Unscheduled Outages, what does this means ? check this Technet link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa998584.aspx well , if you want to changed this nature, i think you will end up with problems in syncing the Log Files between the two nodes. anyone has another idea ? i think you should not allow for manual failover for CCR specially, due to the nature of Log shipping of the Log files between the two nodes, this is from my point of view. Cluster service will do a fail over in case of something is failing. Either build your system reduntant and cluster service does not need to fail over. If you really want to control this manually, then wait for SCR. Its coming in Exchange 2007 SP1. With SCR you manually controleverything .
