Prevent certain types of messages from being auto forwarded to a distribution list
Exchange server version: 8.1.240.0Is there a way to prevent certain _types_ of messages from being forwarded by a distribution list? The restriction is strictly based on "type" (example below) it is not based on people or subject line.By type, I mean things like: Out of office auto reply; Task Assignment, Acceptance, Decline, Completion; Calendar Invites? The reason I ask is we have a distribution list that sorts acts as an "entity" onto itself. I.e. In addition to sending team@company.com emails and let it forward to "joe@company, jack@company" etc, one can assign tasks, invite to meetings of the team@company. The problem with this set up is that team@company gets plenty of inconsequential emails (like the types I discribed above) and they in turn get forwarded into the individual users mail.I am hoping for a solution that will trap these "non-message" messages in the team@company mail box, but still forward on any actual emails.Any ideas? Thanks in advance.Josh
