Prevent Users from sending emails to GAL.
How do i configure exchange 2007 server to prevent users from abusing emails? i.e, how can i stop all the users from sending emails to the entire company? At the moment, i have applied a restriction on distribution groups. Any help would be highly appreciated. Best Regards, Jerry

Well, to quote Ed Crowley (twice in one day, actually!) "there are seldom good technological solutions to bad behavior" You really have an HR issue, not a technical issue. I'm not really trying to be funny, well, I am, kinda, but the problem is bad behavior that is causing you to have to put up additional obstacles. You can restrict a user's ability to send receive messages from other users on the Exchange General page -> Delivery Restrictions option. You could set up a group that is NOT allowed to send to users and then set this user by user so they can't send to each other. Another option is that you can drop down the maximum number of users a person can send to in a single message. The default is 5,000, but you can override that on the global Message Delivery options or on a user-by-user basis on their Delivery Options button. Again, a lot of work on you to do, but I guess that is life in IT. Did you want to prevent them from sending to the Internet also?
