Powershell results not the same as the GUI configuration
I ran a query to get the quota limits of the databases (get-mailboxdatabase | ft name,IssueWarningQuota,ProhibitSendQuota), and some databases returned incorrect info as seen in the gui. When I checked the gui on the mailbox servers and re-saved the
dialog box, it says nothing new was saved.
The output is showing the defaults for a few mailboxes, not all mailboxes.
Never expected this and assumed the powershell output would be accurate. Users are not complaing from a 2 GB cap, so the default is not configured.
Any suggestions on where to look?

I ran that same command in my environment and the returned results matched the values in seen in the Exchange Management Console GUI. What kind of differences are you seeing? From your post is seems the powershell results for the IssueWarningQuota
and ProhibitSendQuota do not match what is seen in the GUI for the same database. Do some of your users have exemptions to the database quotas?TBrennan

Hi rudi,
For this issue, I suggest you follow these steps to troubleshoot the problem:
1.Close Exchange Management console, then re-open Exchange Management console to check whether the values matched.
2.If the values still not matched after you re-open the Exchange Management console, please restart Microsoft Exchange Information store to have a try.
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions.
The changes were done months ago, so forcing a refresh isn't solving the descrepancy. The gui must be correct because the limits are several times the defaults but users are not complaining.
Powershell is showing default values for IssueWarningQuota and ProhibitSendQuota on one storage group only.
