Powershell - Audit Calendar permissions for Exchange 2007 users?
Is there a way with powershell/EMS to audit calendar permissions for Exchange 2007 users? For a mailbox it is easy with the Get-MailboxPermission cmdlet, but what about a calendar? I've done a lot of searching and reading and found some hints about this from a couple sites like: https://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=3036986&SiteID=17 http://gsexdev.blogspot.com/2005/05/changing-default-permissions-on.html I'm not a developer however so I don't understand a lot about it...especially from the blogspot site. Is this even possible without dev skills or 3rd party apps? I don't need to change permissions really, I just want to be able to view them. It would be nice to be able to just get it from powershell. A command similar to Get-MailboxPermission specifically for calendars would be great. Thoughts?

Hi Nick, I think it is not possible easily with a single commandin PowerShell, calendar permission stores in Mailbox so it requires additional programming to get it from mailbox. You may try with Microsoft PFDavAdmin Tool to open mailboxes instead of Public Folders and verify the folder permission of calendar.

Hi Amit, Thanks for the reply. I feared that would be the answer, but I will look into the PFDavAdmin tool you linked. I appreciate you giving me another path to go down. Thanks!

Amit, I just wanted to let you know that I checked out that tool and it gives me what I need including a whole lot more. Would be cool to be able to audit calendar permissions from powershell, but this works. It's great. Thanks again!
