PowerPoint 2013 Won't work on Surface
I cannot seem to get the Powerpoint 2013 on my Surface to open. It worked a few days ago and now it says there is an error. What is going on? I rely on this program immensely

Hi,

Sorry to hear it doesn't work. Can you tell us what the error is like what is the description? Are you working on a Surface Pro or a Surface RT?

With that info present we might be able to help you more..

It is a Surface RT and the error that appears is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\1033\PPINTL.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000428.

I do not have original installation media because it was already loaded on the surface,

Hi,

This might be due to an update for PowerPoint 2013 (KB2920732) that we released recently. This will affect the users of PowerPoint 2013 on Windows RT devices. Could you please have a check and see if you've installed this KB?

If this is the case for you, please refresh your device by following the directions here: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2751424. This will refresh the device, while keeping your personal files and settings.

We will provide a new update as soon as a fix is available. Thanks for your understanding.
