PowerPoint 2013 Insert Video without a Microsoft Live Account/K-12 organization

Hi there,

I have read through all of the questions on this topic, but this feature assumes everyone using the product has a Microsoft Live account. will there be an exception for organizations that have users that will not have live accounts? K-12 School districts for example who may be using another cloud service or none at all. This feature is a powerful educational tool for presentations and it is unfortunate that option is being taken away and unreasonable to have every student have an account to use it.

Hi

Do you want to insert an online video or from local files?

You can directly insert a video from local files with the option: Insert>Video>Video on my PC.

If you want to insert an online video, Im afraid in PowerPoint 2013, it requires a Live account and we can only sign in to Office in order to fetch it.
