Is there any way to populate the Exchange Global Address List attributes from a SharePoint contact list rather than Active Directory? We have a SP Contact list for all of our employees where we make full use of the richer contact Schema that SP supports (Home/Work addresses, photos, etc). The problem we have is that users are now forced to manually drag-drop contacts from the SP list into their personal Contacts folders and those are static snapshots...they don't update when the contacts are added/modified on the server. In addition, we end up with two different contacts for each user- one in the GAL and one in our contacts. I basically want to ignore the info for users in AD and populate the GAL with the up to date/richer contact information we manage in SP 2007...there HAS to be a way to do this - right?? We are running SharePoint Server2007and Exchange Server 2007...clients all run Outlook 2007. Thanks, jon
