I am looking to send an email which will be opened in outlook client.

In this email I need to have a hyperlink, which I am implementing using <a> tag.

But I want that the website should be opened in a smaller window and not as new window in the browser.

I tried using javascript:window.open() but it wont work in outlook.

Hi,

It is by design. For security reasons, Outlook doesn't run code in HTML messages. For most users opening in the browser is a workaround.

I haven't got further suggestions regarding this so far. We can keep this thread open for other ideas.
