Please explain/contract add-mailboxpermissions vs add-mailboxfolderpermissions
The add-mailboxfolderpermissions is only giving you specific access to a folder like inbox or calendar. You would than access the folder in Outlook, file menu, open, other users folder. For add-mailboxpermission you're granting the entire mailbox access. Add-MailboxFolderPermission is a new cmdlet in Exchange 2010. Admin can assign permission on one user's mailbox folder level to another user. Another user can access the folder in Outlook, file menu, open, other users folder as James said. In previous version of Exchange, this can only be done via Outlook manually(Inbox->Properties->Permissions). Add-MailboxPermission is mainly used to assign Full access permission on mailbox level(or EMC->Recipient Configuration->Mailbox->Manage Full Access Permission...)
